There are many ways to pay your Waterloo North Hydro bill. Choose the option that is most convenient for you. How would you like to pay?

Pay online by credit card

You can pay your bill by Visa, MasterCard and American Express using a bill payment system powered by Plastiq. Please note that Plastiq charges a service fee for each bill payment. We are not able to accept regular Credit Card payments at our office.

Pay using a MoneyGram from Canada Post

Pay using telephone or online banking

Most banks allow you to pay your bill in person or using telephone and online banking.

It's important to know that it can take 3-5 working days for us to receive your payment from the bank. Please be sure to allow enough time for your payment to reach us by the due date.

Set up a pre-authorized monthly equal payment plan (EPP)

EPP is an easier and more convenient way to pay your hydro bill. Here's how it works:

  1. Contact our Customer Care Group at 519-885-6840 to set your equal payment amount. The amount is based on your average billing for the last 12 months.
  2. You will only receive a statement every two months showing your actual consumption and charges. However, the equal payment amount will be taken from your bank account monthly on your regular due date.
  3. We review your equal payment amount at least twice per year. The payments will be adjusted up or down if; you have used more or less electricity. There will be a note on your regular bill to let you know if the payment amount has changed. If you owe money on your hydro account, the amount is rolled into the new equal payment amount. The same is true if there is a credit on your hydro account.
  4. To sign up for EPP is simple. Click on the link above, print and complete the form and mail or fax it to us. Please be sure to include the "void" cheque.

Set up pre-authorized payments

Pre-Authorized Payment is an easier and more convenient way to pay your hydro bill. Here's how it works:

  1. Print the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan Form. Complete the form and fax or mail it to us. Please be sure to attach a cheque marked "void".
  2. You will receive your bill the same way as you always have in the past. On the due date, your bill is automatically paid from your bank account. You always know beforehand how much it is and when the money comes out of your bank account.

Instead of sending us your cheque when you get your bill, the payment comes directly from your bank account on the due date. It is 100% secure and your bill is always paid on time.
