Managing your electricity usage and monitoring your consumption is a great way to keep costs low. Waterloo North Hydro's My Account site provides detailed hourly, daily and monthly consumption data so you know how much you are using. You can save money by taking advantage of off-peak periods and comparing your usage to previous months.

Sign up for My Account today for 24/7 access to all your important account details from wherever you may be. 

Receive Your Bill, From Anywhere

As a My Account user, you can also sign up for Paperless Billing and receive email notifications when your bill is ready. Paperless billing allows you to know the amount due and the bill’s due date as soon as it is available.

Never Miss a Payment

Even though you’re out of the country, we have made it easy and worry-free for you to pay your electricity bill.

Sign up for Pre-Authorized Payment or an Equal Payment Plan before heading south and you won’t have to worry about missing a payment while you’re away.

You can register for Pre-Authorized Payment and we will automatically withdraw your bill amount from the specified bank account on the bill's due date. You always know beforehand how much it is and when the money is withdrawn from your bank account.

Equal Payment Plan 

The Equal Payment Plan is an even easier and more efficient way to pay your hydro bill. Our Customer Care Group will set your equal payment amount based on your consumption history over the past 12 months. We review your equal payment amount at least twice per year. The payments will be adjusted if you have used more or less electricity than originally calculated. There will be a note on your regular bill to let you know if the payment amount has changed. If you owe money on your hydro account, the amount is rolled into the new equal payment amount. The same is true if there is a credit on your electricity account.
